EN HONOR A STEVE JOBS
Just a few days ago all us got to know of the terrible news that Steve left us forever... That's
why today I will talk about my experience as a user of the brand that he created and which he believed in.
I've been a client of Apple for years, and have owned a couple of iPods, a couple of laptops and
an old iMac ( I still have to wait to have the iPhone...). Even if I've had experiences with other Apple machines I'll focus on the moments where my pocket and bank learned how much a Mac costs. I have to say that although I love the brand I haven't had very good experiences with it a
lot of times.
My first "misadventure" was due to a blow it received on the screen of my little black MacBook that has given me so much trouble. When I was student I tried to save some money so I decided not to buy any type of insurance (yes, the one that you have to buy at the time of the payment of your new computer, and like this you're covered for 3 years of "misadventures"). Eventually, this gave me lot of troubles and headaches, especially after seeing my screen become a cubist painting, and later having two stages more of "misadventures" losing two hard drives without being able to recover any of the projects and jobs done, all these things in less than a year (yes, I back up on three different external hard drives now...).
Apart from this I have to admit that "misadventures" can can happen to everyone. The laptop which I'm writing these words from has worked very hard, and even with these disappointments with which I have been surprised (I don't wish it to anyone), this poor laptop has had lots of shit thrown at it over the years.
I'm sure Steve will leave a good legacy, and all that revolutionary ideas he introduced in his company will continue surprising us after his departure.
For my part I am still and I will continue giving Apple chances. I just got a new MacBook Pro (plus the insurance for it, haha) and I'm betting on everything that Tim Cook will be making good use of the torch that has been handed down to him from Steve.

Hace sólo escasos cuatro días todos recibimos terrible la noticia de que Steve nos dejaba para siempre... Es por eso que hoy voy a hablar de mi experiencia como usuaria de la marca que él creó y en la que creyó.
Soy cliente de la manzanita desde hace años aunque en mi posesión a penas he tenido un par de iPods, un par de portátiles y un viejo iMac (aunque me encanta, el iPhone tendrá que esperar...). Aunque si que he vivido experiencias con más equipos suficientes para compartir unas palabras al respecto, me centraré en los momentos en los que mi bolsillo se enteró de lo que vale un peine (o un Mac...), que aunque adoro a la marca no puedo decir que haya tenido muy buenas experiencias.
Mi primera "mala racha" se debió a un golpe que recibió en la pantalla mi pequeño MacBook negro que tanta guerra me ha dado. Tras intentar ahorrarme unas pelillas en mi época estudiantil, decidí no comprar ningún tipo de seguro (sí, ese que hay que comprar a la hora de realizar el pago de tu nuevo equipo, y que te cubre 3 años de "malas rachas"), eso me trajo grandes comeduras de cabeza, especialmente tras ver mi pantalla a modo de cuadro cubista, y más tarde tener otras dos etapas de "mala racha" perdiendo dos discos duros sin recuperación ninguna de proyectos y trabajos, todo en menos de un año (sí, ahora hago back up en tres discos duros externos diferentes...)
Aún así he de reconocer que "malas rachas" puede tenerlas cualquiera. El equipo en el que estoy escribiendo estas palabras ha trabajado muy duro, y aún habiéndome sorprendido con esos disgustos (no se lo deseo a nadie), ha terminado aguantando como un campeón años y años.
Confío en que Steve nos dejará un buen legado, y todo lo que implantó como revolucionario en su compañía siga sorprendiéndonos tras su partida.
Yo por mi parte sigo y seguiré dándole oportunidades. Acabo de hacerme con un MacBook Pro (más su correspondiente garantía, jaja), y sigo apostando por todo lo que nos ha dejado y por todo lo que Tim Cook puede seguir haciendo.
